IPTV on Amazon Fire TV and Firestick
Fire TV is the most common way our customers watch. This guide covers installing a player from the Amazon Appstore, entering your details with the remote, and the two settings that fix most playback complaints.

Find the Appstore on your Fire TV
From the home screen, move to the magnifying-glass search at the top left, or open the Appstore row. Fire TV's interface changes between generations, so look for either the Appstore tile or the search icon rather than a fixed menu position.
If your stick has not been used for a while, let it finish any pending system update first. A half-updated Fire TV frequently fails to install anything.

Install an IPTV player
Search for an IPTV player that supports playlist or portal logins, and install it from the Amazon Appstore. We will name a current option that suits your setup when we send your credentials, because availability in the store changes over time.
Install only from the Amazon Appstore. You do not need to enable developer options, sideload anything, or install an unknown file to use our service, and we will never ask you to.

Enter your playlist details
Open the player and choose to add a playlist, user or portal. Type the address we sent you exactly, including the http:// or https:// prefix, then add the username and password if the player asks for them separately.
The Fire TV remote makes long addresses slow. Installing the Fire TV app on your phone gives you a keyboard for the same on-screen field, which is much quicker and less error-prone.

Wait for the first load, then set favourites
The channel list and the programme guide download on first use, which can take a couple of minutes. Do not close the app while it is working.
Once it has finished, mark the channels you actually watch as favourites. It turns a very long list into a usable one and is the single change most customers say made the biggest difference.

Tune the two settings that matter
If playback stutters, raise the buffer in the player's settings a step at a time. A slightly larger buffer delays channel changes a little but absorbs small dips in your connection.
Then try switching the decoder between hardware and software. Hardware decoding is lighter on older sticks; software decoding sometimes handles awkward streams better. Which is best genuinely depends on your model.

Fire TV specifics worth knowing
Which stick you have matters
The basic Fire TV Stick Lite has noticeably less processing headroom than the 4K models. It will play HD happily but can struggle with higher-resolution streams, particularly with software decoding. If you are buying a stick specifically for this, a 4K model is the safer choice.
Storage fills up quickly
Fire TV devices ship with very little free space, and a player storing a large channel list and guide needs some. If installs fail or the app becomes sluggish, uninstall apps you do not use and clear caches from the device settings.
Wireless is usually the bottleneck
A Firestick sits behind the television, often with the screen between it and the router. If playback is inconsistent, an Ethernet adapter for the stick is an inexpensive and very effective fix. Failing that, move the router or use a mesh node nearby.
Sleep and restart behaviour
Fire TV keeps apps suspended rather than closed. If the player behaves oddly after days of use, fully close it from the recent-apps list, or restart the stick from Settings. That resolves a surprising share of one-off problems.
On sideloading
You may see instructions elsewhere telling you to enable unknown sources and install player apps from a web address. Our service does not require that, and doing it exposes your device to software nobody has reviewed. If you are ever told to do this in our name, it did not come from us.
